Creating Jobs and Regenerating Blackpool

Parts of our town centre are in need of a re-vamp. We’ve had a Labour MP & Labour Council for years, who have failed to make the changes our town centre needs. We need to fill the empty shops, tackle anti-social behaviour, and help homeless people off the streets. So that the town centre is welcoming to shoppers and visitors.

By working with local business groups, such as the Central Blackpool Business Forum, and the Police, to tackle anti-social behaviour and commercial begging, we can create a safer, more welcoming town centre. This will allow new businesses to open empty shopping units which will help to increase the number of shoppers and visitors. This creates new jobs, meaning more local people will be able to support their family with a regular pay packet.
